An 18-wheeler collided with a vehicle driven by a Lampasas woman who was eastbound at the intersection of Fourth Street and Key Avenue on Tuesday. The emergency call was reported to the Lampasas Police Department at 3:41 p.m.

County approves new precinct boundaries for commissioners

On Monday, the Lampasas County Commissioners Court finalized adjustments for new precinct boundaries for the county commissioners. The changes are due to population growth in the Kempner area, officials said.

Sales tax measure to appear on Kempner ballots

After some discussion during Tuesday’s Kempner City Council meeting, city officials decided to approve an election to increase the special sales tax levied within the city. The increase would raise the local sales tax portion dedicated to streets from 0.25% to 0.5%.
