After fiscal discord at Lometa City Council’s regular meeting on Nov. 4, Mayor Bob Butler submitted a letter of resignation.City officials said Butler submitted his letter too late for the item to be included on the agenda for the Nov. 8 called meeting. and he was absent from that session.
