Lampasas FFA takes sweepstakes at district contest

Lampasas FFA members won the sweepstakes banner at the Bluebonnet District leadership contests in Burnet last weekend.Seventeen LHS students will advance to the area contest on Nov. 20 in Kerrville. Those advancing are listed below.

Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings.Defendant Eric Cesar Bear of Abilene entered a guilty plea to a charge of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. The charge was prosecuted as a Class A misdemeanor.
