Blood drive to run Feb. 14-15

The next American Red Cross Community Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Wednesday from 12:30-5:30 p.m.

Lampasas County Museum has planned a series of free music concerts in conjunction with its newest exhibition, “And the Beat Goes On,” which highlights the musical heritage of local entertainers. On Saturday at 1 p.m., The Texas Elderly Brothers will perform.

State Rep. Spiller named vice chair of new Texas Water Caucus

The Texas Water Foundation has announced the establishment of the Texas House Water Caucus, a bi-partisan collaborative focused on water issues with a starting roster of 38 legislators, including District 68 Rep. David Spiller (R-Jacksboro), who has been named the vice chair of the group.
