Day of Prayer to be observed May 1 in Lampasas

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance designated by the United States Congress and held on the first Thursday of May. People of all religious backgrounds are invited to turn to God in prayer and meditation on this day, particularly to uphold the families and leaders of our country.

New solid waste contract begins May 1

Frontier Waste Solutions will be the new provider of trash collections services for city of Lampasas residents. The contract goes into effect May 1.A Texas-based company, Frontier Waste will be responsible for all hauling of solid waste in the city limits.
