The why and how of deadheading faded flowers

Keep your flowers blooming longer and your garden a bit tidier with deadheading. Removing faded flowers can promote repeat bloom on some plants, encourage fuller, more compact growth, and tidy up the garden.Use a bypass hand pruner, garden snips or other dead-heading tool to remove faded flowers.

Helping to stamp out hunger

Lampasas Mission Food Pantry volunteers offered their thanks to Benny Boyd for covering food costs associated with the Pork Chop Fundraiser the nonprofit held in May at the fire station. Community support helps provide funding to keep the food pantry ministry going.
