The Texas Chiropractic Association has named Dr. Craig Benton the recipient of the Keeler Plaque for 2021, designating him as the Texas chiropractor of the year.

TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY Kyle Alexander Wright -- son of retired Col. Rob and Myra Wright, and grandson of Carol Wright and the late Bob Wright of Lampasas -- graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Texas A&M University in College Station on May 14.

Lampasas County 4-H members participated at the 75th annual Texas 4-H Roundup in College Station, held June 8-10. Texas 4-H Roundup is considered the pinnacle event for the organization, with approximately 1,300 youth competing in 50 diverse competitions.

Hurrah! Lampasas County is celebrating yesteryear and the 50 th annual Spring Ho festival the first week in July. The Lampasas County Museum will help celebrate Spring Ho with a special exhibit to commemorate the first festival and the people who started the event.
