A crew with Texas State Utilities, working on behalf of Atmos Energy, is in the trenches replacing old gas lines just off North Avenue on the east side of Lampasas. An Atmos spokesperson said the maintenance should continue through December.

Lometa council receives update on city audits

Meeting in regular session at City Hall Monday evening, the Lometa City Council moved through its regular meeting agenda with no difficulty.In new business, the council tabled a proposal from the mass alert system TEXTMYGOV in order to clarify the system’s pricing structure and functionality.

Faulty light repaired at Badger Field

A repair has been made on the stadium light at Badger Field’s northeast corner, according to Lampasas ISD Chief Financial Officer Shane Jones.The faulty stadium light caused the Badgers’ final regular-season game of the season to be delayed until Saturday.
