TURN LANE CLOSED BY HIGH SCHOOL The right turn lane into Lampasas High School remained closed Wednesday afternoon, a Texas Department of Transportation spokeswoman said, as more extensive repair is needed in that area.

Gains continue in sales tax rebates

Sales tax payments to Lampasas County entities and those in the surrounding counties show to be up for the second month of 2021 – for all except the city of Kempner. Kempner has had a 4% drop-off in sales tax revenues for both January and February, and it ended December with a 2% decrease as well.
