LIVESTOCK ASSOCIATION MEETING

The Lampasas County Livestock Association’s annual general membership meeting is set May 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the county show barn. The meeting is open to any Lampasas County Youth Livestock Show exhibitors and their parents.

Monroe elected Lampasas mayor

Lampasas voters elected TJ Monroe as mayor on Saturday, and Kempner City Councilman John Wilkerson unseated mayoral incumbent Keith Harvey. Those were just two of the contests in Saturday’s municipal elections.

Belton man flown to hospital after rollover on U.S. Highway 190

By David Lowe Dispatch Record Two Belton men were transported – one by aircraft – for medical treatment after a pickup truck rolled over Saturday on U.S. Highway 190. The crash occurred east of Lampasas at 5:25 p.m. Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Bryan Washko gave the following report.

CTC summer semester registration opens

Central Texas College has opened registration for summer 2021 classes at its service area sites in Lampasas, Gatesville, Fredericksburg and Marble Falls. Students can register online using the CTC WebAdvisor system. The summer semester offers five-, eight-, 10- and 12-week courses.
