The Oct. 20 Lampasas Cattle Auction report follows. Cattle and calves: Total cattle 742, compared to 730 last sale and 501 at this time last year. Compared to last sale, feeder steers and heifers were $3-$5 higher. Slaughter cows were $2-$4 lower, and slaughter bulls were $1-$3 higher.

SHEEP AND GOAT AUCTION

The Oct. 21 market report from Mills County Commission Co. follows. Total receipts: 2,255. Previous week: 1,535. Trends: Light kids $15 higher. Slaughter kids $10-$15 higher; slaughter nannies $10-$15 higher on lightweights/heavy nannies were steady; replacement nannies $15 higher.

Students perform Charlie Brown-inspired play
