Williams accepts state emergency management position

Although Kempner’s first city manager submitted his resignation in August, he will continue to serve area residents, albeit in a different capacity. David C. Williams II announced that he has accepted a position as the Region 6 grant coordinator for the Texas Division of Emergency Management.

The Lampasas County Commissioners Court and its staff have submitted a proposed Fiscal Year 2023 budget for the county. The budget will be up for a final vote later this month. FY 2023 general fund expenditures total $10.

LPD seeks information on graffiti, park vandalism

The Lampasas Police Department is seeking assistance from the community in identifying suspects of ongoing vandalism at city parks. Patrol Lt. Chuck Montgomery posted photos of graffiti tags on the LPD Facebook page Monday “to see if anyone recognizes these tags.
