Davis sentenced in child sexual abuse, pornography case

A Kempner man was sentenced last week to 95 years imprisonment in a child rape and pornography case.

DISTRICT COURT

Lampasas County 27th District Court convened last week with Judge John Gauntt presiding over the day’s hearings. Defendant Jessica Beth Helgesson of Copperas Cove entered a plea of guilty to two charges: assault on a public servant and burglary of a habitation.

Indictment returned against man for alleged child sexual abuse

A Lampasas man was indicted last week on felony charges stemming from child sexual abuse that allegedly occurred between three and nine years ago.

GRAND JURY

Lampasas County grand jury met last week as part of the January 2023 term. The Lampasas Police Department, represented by Sgt. Investigator Garrett Bradley and Sgt. Investigator Tim Ryan, brought information that resulted in indictments against: Ronald Gene Clayton Jr.
