The Lampasas Economic Development Corp. is willing to lend a helping hand to businesses eyeing building improvements.During the EDC Board of Directors meeting April 15, members unanimously agreed to partner with local banks for business improvement loans.

Sales tax payments jump this month

The Texas Comptroller’s Office shows that sales tax payments to the city of Lampasas rose 14% in April, compared to the same period last year. That marks the highest one-month gain since February 2025, when the city also recorded a 14% increase.
