ERICK MITCHELL | DISPATCH RECORD Grady Gibson of Hill Country Soil and Water Conservation District #524 was on hand at last week’s Commissioners Court meeting for the naming of April 25-May 6, 2026 as Texas Soil and Water Stewardship Week.
During its April 13 regular meeting, the Lampasas County Commissioners Court advanced plans for safety and security infrastructure for flood-prone waterways.
Commissioners accepted a resolution to seek financial assistance from the Texas Water Development Board for the installation of a siren warning system. Also, the court approved its grant agreement with the TWDB.
