Despite the cold, wet weather on Saturday, dozens of residents went to Campbell Park to view the Lampasas Community Garden.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, community gardens are collaborative projects on open spaces where participants share in the maintenance and products of the garden, which can include healthful fresh fruits and vegetables.
