Lometa ISD reviews campus progress, fencing project

The Lometa Independent School District Board of Trustees met recently for its September meeting, centered around reports and updates of campus activities. Superintendent Rob Moore presented parts of the district’s academic plan, as well as an update to construction projects.

Fields of Faith set for Oct. 18

The annual Fields of Faith event is set for Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. The program is hosted by the Lampasas chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and will take place at Badger Field.

The 88th session of the Texas Legislature saw lawmakers propose 14 amendments to the state constitution. Voter approval will be required at the statewide general election on Nov. 7 to finalize these amendments to the Texas Constitution.
