Naruna Road, Us 281 Closure

The city will be relocating utilities at the intersection of Naruna Road and U.S. Highway 281 South in preparation for widening of the highway. Crews will be working in this area through Thursday. Naruna Road, from the highway to the golf course, as well as one lane of U.

Commissioners approve road hand pay raise

The Lampasas County Commissioners Court approved a small pay raise for precinct road hands during its regular meeting on Monday morning. Precinct 1 Commissioner Bobby Carroll brought the matter to the attention of the court to help keep pay competitive for county road workers.
