GriefShare, a grief recovery and support group, will begin a new session Jan. 28 and run each Tuesday through April 29 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 402 S. Key Ave.

Vegetable gardening next topic for Browning Club

The Browning Community Garden Club will hold its first meeting of 2025 on Tuesday at the Kempner Volunteer Fire Department Training Building, 315 Pecan St. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m.Gust speaker will be Patty Leander. She is a writer for Texas Gardener Magazine as well as a Master Gardener.

The Lampasas community continues to garner strong support among blood donors as evidenced by the Jan. 14 American Red Cross Blood Drive.“We had 59 donors and collected 61 units – a great day,” said Wanda Lang, drive coordinator.

Construction of tiny home nears completion at LHS

Lampasas High School construction students, under the guidance of Creating Badger Builders volunteers, are just a few months away from completing a 14x40-foot tiny home.The 560-square-foot structure is set to be completed in April or May and will be available for purchase through auction.
