Astronomers to set up telescopes for dark sky viewing

Lampasas County Friends of the Night Sky, Vision Lampasas and the Lampasas Public Library are sponsoring a free star party Saturday from 5-9 p.m. that will feature astronomers with their telescopes, a guest speaker, children’s activities, and food and informational booths.
The event is at the old middle school cafeteria on Western Street. Doors open at 5 p.m.
