L-M Club tours Morrison Ranch

On the evening of Oct. 20, the L-M Garden and Civic Club met at Morrison Ranch outside of Lometa for its monthly gathering. Not only did the club hold its business meeting there, but members also toured this off-the-grid farm and ranch.

Events welcome hunters to county

With the general season for white-tailed deer set to open Nov. 1, area groups are planning their welcome events for hunters and others who love a good meal.The Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce will host its Hunters Welcome Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the HEB grocery store parking lot.
