Funding available for septic system repairs

The Lampasas River Watershed Partnership is coordinating a septic system repair and replacement program for residents in the Lampasas River watershed to help improve and protect water quality. Residents of the watershed may be eligible for up to $8,000 to repair or replace failing systems.

After 22 years with the Lampasas Independent School District, Julie Salvato is saying goodbye. The longtime librarian and current LISD Career and Technical Education director will leave her role at the end of the month.

Lampasas County Farm Bureau is sponsoring a photography contest to allow residents to demonstrate their skills in capturing agriculture subjects. Theme of the contest is “What do you see when looking at agriculture in Lampasas County.” All items must be finished products and ready for display.
