42 Tournament winners announced

The annual Spring Ho Festival 42 Tournament took place Tuesday, July 4 at Putters & Gutters Fun Center. Taking first place were Don Flowers and James Young. Alan Galbreath and Murray D. finished in second place. Third-place honors went to Shad Hill and John Hines.

Diaper Derby draws the ‘fastest crawlers’

With a nice cloud cover Friday morning, crawlers and toddlers who participated in the Diaper Derby had almost perfect “race” conditions for their competition. Beta Mu sorority hosted the event in front of the courthouse bandstand. Winners and their parents names are listed below.

New student registration date set

Lampasas ISD district-wide new student registration will be held July 19 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parents and guardians may come to Lampasas High School at 2716 South U.S. Highway 281 to register their students who are new to the district.
