Lady Badgers lose tough match to Jarrell

In their second district match of the season, and their first at home, the Lady Badgers suffered a three-set loss to Jarrell.The final score of the match was 20-25, 22-25, 13-25.

Subvarsity football teams split games with Salado

Last Thursday, the freshman and junior varsity football teams traveled to Salado for their second games of the season.The Lampasas freshmen picked up a 42-22 win over the Eagles, and the JV team lost 8-0.

The Badger tennis team started the district schedule on the road against Stephenville Tuesday night and picked up a 15-4 win.The match started with doubles play, and Lampasas came out firing.

Lady Badgers take loss in final non-district match

The Lady Badger volleyball team suffered a tight, five-set loss against McGregor last Friday in the final non-district match of the season.Head coach Ali Tippie said the girls made a few too many mistakes, and they lost focus more often than McGregor did. That ultimately led to the loss.

Fast start leads to Hornet win over Blum last Friday

Lometa improved to 2-0 with a 47-36 win over Blum on Friday night.The Hornets got off to a fast start, but big plays by the Bobcats kept the game close until the final minute.

Tennis team loses to Fredericksburg in final district tune-up

The Badger tennis team hosted both Fredericksburg and China Spring last Saturday. They were able to play Fredericksburg, but China Spring and Lampasas had their match canceled by some rainy weather that came through town.Against Fredericksburg, the Badgers lost 13-4.
