The Lampasas boys’ cross country team and a couple of Lady Badger runners ran in Lubbock on Monday at the regional meet and performed admirably.
Abby Valdez finished 38th overall. She missed qualifying for the state meet by 12 places.
Nyla Long placed 61st. A total of 179 girls competed in the race.
The varsity boys’ team placed 20th. In the 4A division, 175 boys ran in this race.
