Raiders start strong in both halves at Lometa
The Lometa Hornets dropped their first game back from Christmas break, 45-36, to the Round Rock Raider JV at home on Tuesday.
“The first and third quarter is where we struggled offensively,” coach Frank Reyes Jr. said. “We were in the game, down by eight at the half, but were outscored 11-3 in the third. The deficit was too large to overcome even though we outscored them 11-6 in the fourth.
