Lampasas kept things close in the first half, down 2-1 to Copperas Cove in girls’ soccer on Tuesday. But the Lady ’Dawgs went on to win 9-3. Freshman Bella Lindsey scored every goal for Lampasas. The LHS varsity is scheduled to play in the Fredericksbu tournament Jan. 14-15. Fredericksburg was No. 3 in the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches 4A Region 4 preseaso rankings.
