LHS track advances to area in most field events

On the first day of district track and field, Lampasas qualified for area in several field events. Field events and running prelims were held Wednesday in Brownwood, with running finals to follow at the same site Thursday after press time. The top four finishers in each event advance to area, which is April 14 in Mineral Wells. The top six finishers earn points toward the team standings…
