The Badgers traveled to Taylor last Saturday for 7-on-7 competition. The group went 2-2 over the day and lost in the semifinals.
The Lampasas team beat Taylor, lost to Davenport and then beat Connally to win its pool. Then they played Lago Vista in the semis and were defeated.
Had the Badgers beaten Lago Vista, they would have qualified for the state 7-on-7 tournament.
