The Lady Badgers entered Friday’s game with a chance to all but secure third place in the district with a win over Brownwood.
The girls came out strong and were leading 30-19 at halftime.
A huge third-quarter run, however, by the Lady Lions had that team leading by one going into the fourth quarter.
By the end of the game, Lampasas had lost 52-46.
