The Lady Badgers brought home a first-place trophy from the JV tennis district tournament, played Monday in Brownwood.
Haley Finley won district after starting out behind in her first match.
She “played tough and came back to win 8-5,” coach Kenneth Peiser said. “She then rolled through her second round 6-0 and finally played Hannah Durbin in the finals.”
