Hughes takes reserve championship at junior high rodeo finals

Fourteen-year-old Rowdy Hughes finished as Reserve State Champion bull riding at the Texas Junior High Rodeo Association state finals last weekend. He took third place in the first go-round and third in the short go. Hughes’ score was 65 in the first ride and 68 in the short go.
