District basketball has ended for both Hornet basketball teams, with the Lometa boys securing a spot in the playoffs.
The girls’ and boys’ teams struggled to find their identities throughout the season, and it resulted in tough losses. The boys finished in third place with a 6-4 district record. The girls went 2-8 in district.
