The nose of the coyote is probably as sensitive as that of the great polar bear of the Arctic who, I am told, can smell food many miles across the ice and snow. In my opinion, the coyote is far too smart for man. In our effort to do away with him, we have made him smarter through several generations by killing the dumb ones and upbreeding the smart ones.
