The Hornets competed in the area track meet last week in Blanket. Four competitors finished in the top four of their events to advance to regionals.
Sierra Tower captured first place in discus, winning the region with a throw of 106’.25”. She also took fourth in shotput and will advance after a throw of 30’4”.
Copeland Brister placed third overall in the shotput, with a distance of 39’3”.
