The Lady Badgers’ eighth-grade “A” basketball team beat Burnet 36-23 in the first game back from a long Christmas break.
“We had a rough start before we got some points on the board, but we pulled ahead and ended halftime ahead by 10 points,” coach Whitney Wright said. “Overall, the girls were exhausted, but they played hard and tough and did some great things on offense that I was very happy…
