ANA SOFIA MEYER | DISPATCH RECORD Lampasas’ sophomore quarterback Ross Kothmann completes a pass into the end zone to Tripp Stinnett. Kothmann totaled two touchdown passes in his debut as the Badgers’ starting quarterback, and both passes went to Stinnett. Kothmann ended his debut with 162 passing yards, over half of the Badgers’ total offensive production.
By the end of the Badgers’ first possession in their Week 1 challenge at Gatesville on Friday, it was clear they were in full control of the pace of the game. That continued through four quarters of hard-nose high school football and culminated in the Badgers’ 21-0 win over the Hornets.
