Badger Aaron Everts medaled at the state powerlifting meet, as he earned a fifth-place finish in the 181-pound unequipped division.
Everts recorded personal records in the squat at 515 pounds and deadlift at 570 pounds. He finished with an impressive total of 1,400 pounds, according to coach David Brister.
