Lampasas started well in its contest with the Salado Eagles on Tuesday and won the first quarter 14-13. Then things fell apart, and the Badgers played one of their worst games of the season.
The Eagles won 72-43. They held the Badgers to just six points in the fourth quarter.
Nate Borchardt scored 19 points to lead Lampasas, and Dax Brookreson added 15, most of that coming in the first half.
