The Badgers traveled to Gatesville on Friday for the second of back-to-back games with the Hornets.
The Hornets held off Lampasas, winning 4-3, and completing the sweep over the season.
Gatesville jumped out to an early lead with a run in the bottom of the first inning, but the Badgers were able to answer with two in the top of the third to take a one-run advantage.
