The Badger and Lady Badger powerlifting teams were honored at their banquet in late April.
The two lifters who made it all the way to the state competition were the recipients for the only team award, the Battlin’ Badger.
Westen Reid and Brianna Miller both received the recognition.
The award traditionally is given based on who are the strongest male and female athletes, pound for pound.
