manning President Joe Biden and “conservative” Democrat Joe Manchin’s alleged inflation-fighting legislation passed through the Senate last week. It will be surprising to many Americans that the inflation fight includes hiring 87,000 new Internal Revenue Service agents, who are supposed to squeeze $200 billion out of taxpayers’ pockets over the next 10 years.

The Chinese colonization of America

From California to the New York island, from the Redwood Forest to the Gulf stream waters, the land that used to belong to Americans has been milked and bilked by investors and paid government agents of the People’s Republic of China.

The average 12-year-old student at a yeshiva has more wisdom than almost any student at Harvard or most other universities. (A yeshiva is an Orthodox Jewish school with an emphasis on religious studies. About half the school day is devoted to religious studies -- taught from the original Hebrew sources.)

A new age of Orwellianism

Community organizer and left-wing social activist Saul Alinsky wrote, in his 1971 book “Rules for Radicals,” that “he who controls the language controls the masses.” Alinsky, whose work profoundly influenced Barack Obama, was in that quip channeling George Orwell’s famous dystopian novel, “1984.” “Newspeak,” the language of Orwell’s fictional single-political party superstate, was a tool devised for monitoring the people’s communications, prosecuting “thoughtcrimes” and ultimately controlling and dictating the people’s very beliefs.

Leilani Lutali and Jaimee Fougner are alive, giggling and ready to fight for truth, justice and faith. I visited them on a recent weekend at Baylor University Medical Center’s aptly named post-kidney transplant surgery center in Dallas called the Twice Blessed House. If not for their stubborn resistance and persistence, Leilani most likely would not have survived COVID tyranny -- and Jaimee would be in mourning for her sister in Christ. Instead, we laughed, cried and wolfed down Texas barbecue along with friends and family.

How did Democrats get so out of touch with the American people?

The president of the United States, equal parts senescent and feckless, garners record-shattering low approval ratings seemingly each week. Last week, a new Quinnipiac University survey found that a paltry 31% of Americans approve of the way Joe Biden is handling his job. Among political independents, that number is considerably lower: 23% approval, compared with 67% disapproval. Overall, nearly three-quarters of Americans hope Biden does not seek a second term in office.
