The woke school counselor cabal

Body
Back in the day, guidance counselors were those helpful (but not unduly intrusive) high school officials who dispensed vocational and career advice, reminded you of college application deadlines, and made sure your transcripts and letters of recommendations got where they needed to go. But like so much else in the 1960s and 1970s, traditional roles fell to radical transformation. A cadre of new and radicalized school counselors appointed themselves “comprehensive” providers of “social and emotional learning,” mental health coaching, and sexual education proselytizing. Many modern school counselors are zealous social justice meddlers bent on replacing parents and exposing children early and often to anti-white, anti-American, anti-nuclear family propaganda. Speakers at the American School Counselor Association brag openly about being “master manipulators” of children and train their members on how to “become an LGBTQ-inclusive school.”

National conservatism: a primer for the uninitiated

Body
Last Tuesday, the third U.S.-based National Conservatism Conference -- “NatCon 3” -- wrapped up in Miami. It was the second straight National Conservatism Conference held in Florida, and the largest NatCon conference yet. I have attended all three of the U.S. NatCon conferences as well as the most recent European conference, NatCon Brussels, and have been privileged to speak at three NatCon conferences overall.

Kamala Harris and our ‘secure border’

Body
When Donald Trump was president in fiscal 2019, the Border Patrol did not encounter a single individual on the terrorist watchlist trying to illegally cross the U.S.-Mexico border between the legal ports of entry.

Policies are devastating the USA

Body
President Biden’s message to the nation on Thursday, Sept. 1 seemed to be delivered from a setting in Hades. He railed against President Trump and his MAGA voters as enemies of the USA (70-plus million GOP are enemies?). He also once again lied about the Capitol Police being killed on Jan. 6, when only one person was killed – an unarmed Trump supporter who was not showing a violent tendency.

We can’t have a two-tiered America

Body
Last week, this column focused on the eye-opening revelations from Missouri and Louisiana’s lawsuit, still ongoing, that exposes the depth and breadth of the collusion between the Biden regime and the oligarchs of Big Tech. Those lightly redacted documents, made public via a Twitter thread from Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt, shine a spotlight on the extent to which numerous governmental agencies and high-ranking apparatchiks within the Biden administration worked hand-in-glove with Facebook and Twitter to censor and suppress dissident COVID-19 “misinformation” that threatened to destabilize the ruling class’s ill-gotten perch atop America’s social hierarchy. The result of Schmitt’s revelation is to clarify the exigency of the present moment insofar as the collapse of any purported distinction between the “public” sector and the “private” sector is concerned.

Biden attacks our founding principle

Body
When the Founders decided it was time for Americans to assume “the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them,” they did so while plainly stating a universally applicable principle.

The economic crisis of massive government spending

Body
For two years, families have experienced the dire impact of massive government spending at the gas pump, the grocery store and in their everyday lives. Two years of the Democrats’ one-party control in Washington has caused this financial pain and made life more unaffordable for millions of hard-working Americans.
