Wilma Faye Reed Long was born at Rollins Brook Hospital in Lampasas to George William Reed Sr. and Hazel Lee Hicks Reed on Aug. 11, 1936.She died peacefully on Oct. 3, 2025, at the age of 89.Faye will rest at Center Cemetery in Lometa, as she preferred no funeral service.

Richard Carlton “Budge” Howe, age 83, of Round Rock died on Sept. 27, 2025.Born May 4, 1942 in Sweetwater, Budge was the son of Richard Lee and Juanita Kathryn Howe. He graduated from Lampasas High School.On Sept. 12, 1964, Budge married the love of his life, Martha “Marty” Phillips.

Mike Wayne Kriegel, BSCE., RPLS, PE, of Lampasas died peacefully on Sept. 23, 2025 at the age of 67.He was born on July 24, 1958, to Martin John and Bessie Lee Kriegel in Kenedy.He lived in New Braunfels, where he started first grade.
