Mr. Friedlander

Tracy Alan Friedlander, 79, died on Feb. 19, 2026, at his home in Lampasas.He was born on Feb. 27, 1946, in Luzerne, Pennsylvania, to Irving and Letha Dorothy (Lee) Friedlander.  Tracy was cremated, and a celebration of his life will be held at Bar 17 Ranch in Lampasas County on March 21 from 3-6 p.

Mr. Cannon

Claude Frank Cannon III, affectionately known as “Bubba,” was born on Aug. 3, 1945, in Houston. Bubba embodied the spirit of a true cowboy, yet his contributions extended past the realm of ranch life.

Mrs. Petronis

Debby Petronis died on March 6, 2026 after a brief illness. She was 75 years old.Fulton Family Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.Debra Lee “Debby” Simmons Petronis was born and raised in Amarillo. She attended Baylor University and graduated with a degree in education.

Mr. Hicks

James Earnest “Jim” Hicks died Feb. 28, 2026 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple at the age of 88.Jim was born May 23, 1937 in Lampasas County at Bend to William Robert “Bob” Hicks and Jennie May Towerton. He spent most of his life at Bend.

Cecil Milton “C.M.” Crawford Jr., 91, of Lampasas, died peacefully Feb. 27, 2026 in the home he was restoring.Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on March 6 from 10-11 a.m. Graveside services will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas at 11:30 a.m.C.M. was born on Oct.

Mrs. Lindsey

Betty Lindsey, 83, died on Feb. 25, 2026, in Lampasas.She was born on May 29, 1942, in Wichita Falls. She was the daughter of Louise Maclin (Rambo) and Clem Maclin.A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on March 7 at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Hunt

Delena Shaw Hunt of Goldthwaite died on Feb. 18, 2026.Delena was born in Wharton and grew up in West Columbia, but her family’s Shaw roots were in Goldthwaite.She retired and moved to Goldthwaite with her husband in 2012.Delena had a love for horses, rodeo and all people.

Mrs. Queen

Margaret Marie Queen died on Feb. 24, 2026.A celebration of her life will be held March 7 at 2:30 p.m. at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. The family will welcome friends and relatives for visitation an hour preceding the service. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Rogers

Julian Rudy Rogers, 79, of Lampasas died peacefully on Feb. 11, 2026. Born on Aug. 19, 1946 to John N. Rogers and Regina Mejia, Rudy was a lifelong resident of Lampasas.He loved his hometown and built a life rooted in faith, family, service and community.
