Martina (Martha) Rubio, 83, of Lometa, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 3, 2026.
Martina was born on Aug. 28, 1943, in O'Donnell, Texas, to Jim and Victoria Felan. She grew up in West Texas surrounded by her family.
She married Adolph Rubio on Oct. 1, 1965, and together they raised four children. The family moved to Lometa in 1983.
Martina was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed making tamales, picking pecans, caring for her roses and spending time in her garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Rubio; her parents, Jim and Victoria Felan; two sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by her children: Adolph Rubio and wife Deborah, Marty Rubio and wife Annette, Sue Ann Sanchez and husband Jose, and Chris Rubio and wife Laurie, all of Lometa. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as four sisters and one brother.
Ms. Rubio will always be remembered with love and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Fulton Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, Oct. 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Lometa, Texas, on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa, Texas.
