Lampasas bounced back from Tuesday's loss by beating Stephenville 2-1 in district baseball on Friday.
Ace Whitehead was the winning pitcher with 15 strikeouts, two hits, 1 earned run and 1 walk.
Eli Stanley hit an RBI single to bring in Hayden Waldrip for the first run. Keagan Richardson scored on an error. That gave Lampasas a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second.
Stephenville's only run came in the sixth.
Lampasas (2-1 in district) will face Glen Rose on the road March 23.
