The city of Kempner is seeking public participation in a competition to pick a new city slogan.
Those who wish to participate in the contest should submit their slogan suggestion to the city by April 9 at 3:30 p.m. The Kempner City Council will vote on the new slogan April 13, and the contest winner will receive a $100 prize – which Mayor Keith Harvey has donated.
To find the slogan suggestion form, go to https://www.cityofkempner.org/city-notifications, and click on “City Slogan.pdf.”
Complete the form, and then submit it one of the following ways:
• Email to citysec@embarqmail.com.
• Fax to 512-932-3124.
• Drop off the form at City Hall, located at 12288 East U.S. Highway 190. For after-hours dropoff, use the drop box.
