Eloise Brandt, 93, of Lampasas died Aug. 23, 2018 at Spring Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation in Lampasas.
A memorial graveside service for Mrs. Brandt will be conducted Sept. 8 at Coleman City Cemetery at 11 a.m. Her body will be cremated. Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas has charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brandt was born July 1, 1925 in Zephyr, Texas to George Washington Ware and Myrtle (Kemp) Ware.
She was a longtime resident of Coleman, where she worked for the Selective Service Board for a few years. She later worked for Coleman schools as the secretary for the junior high. She retired in 1984.
Eloise and her husband Leo enjoyed traveling. Eloise was an artist who enjoyed painting and doing crochet. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Coleman.
Survivors include a son, George Brandt and wife Debbie of Iowa Park; a daughter, Sue Walker and husband Tim of Kempner; grandchildren, Amber Brandt Sales, Ashley Anderson, Shannon Walker and Angela Walker Marez; step-granddaughter, Hannah Walker; and greatgrandchildren, Carter Sales, Cohen Sales, Ava Anderson, Brandt Anderson, Alisha Walker, Ajay Walker and Ace Walker.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a granddaughter, Amy Walker; and by two sisters, Peggy Northcutt and Jo Ann Boswell.
