Retired Teachers set to host children’s book donation drive

In conjunction with Public Schools Week March 1-5, the Lampasas County Retired Teachers Association will hold a drive-through book donation event March 3 from 10 a.m. to noon at 201 W. First St. in Lampasas. All retired teachers in Lampasas County are asked to bring new or gently used books on a kindergarten child’s reading level (K-2) with an appropriate reading interest.
