Tammye Lew Shipp, 59, of Lometa died June 20, 2018 at her home.
Funeral service was held June 23 at Lometa Church of Christ. Burial followed in Senterfitt Cemetery. Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas had charge of arrangements.
Tammye was born March 6, 1959 in San Saba to Lewis C. Waldon and Betty J. (McLeod) Waldon.
She grew up in Pontotoc and graduated from Mason High School. She later earned her nursing degree from Howard College in Brownwood. She served as director of nurses at Hill Country Memorial Surgery Center in Marble Falls for 12 years.
Tammye loved to shop and to hunt, especially mule deer. She was a member of Lometa Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Shipp; two sons, Coby Pimm and T J Shipp; three daughters, Jacy Roemer, Stephanie Watson and Miranda Tankersley; and a brother, Frankie Crouch. Numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jimmy Yarbrough; and by her father-in-law, Al Shipp.
